arise, rise, raise, arouse和rouse

arise不及物動詞“起源于（和from連用）和“出現”。如：Accidents usually arise from carelessness. 車禍通常源于粗心。

rise不及物動詞“上升”。如：Black smoke rose from the chimney. 黑煙從煙筒中冒出。

raise及物動詞“舉起”。如：He is too weak to raise that heavy box. 他身體虛弱，舉步起那個重盒子。

arouse的意思是“引起，導致”。如：His behavior aroused the interest of the neighbors. 他的行為引起了鄰居的興趣。
